T.I.A. (This Is Africa)

if anyone has seen blood diamond, there's where i got that line... saw it yesterday here in Windhoek, Namibia. We were kind of glad that we weren't the only white people in the cinema... and this little coloured boy asked where my mum was.. I didnt even dare to be tough and ask why he wanted to talk to her for...

else.. it's good to be here, the trip down was looong. everything went fine, except that Mari didnt get her backpack the first day. it came the day after and then someone had broken into it and stolen a videocamera, a photo camera, all her charges for other cameras and mobile...

it is kind of weird to be white down here.. or at least i feel that. most people are very friendly. havent really met too many Namibians yet, but lots of Norwegians!!! didnt know that there were so many Norwegians down here, kind of surprised..

We've had two days here in Windhoek now, and tomorrow we're going to Swakopmund by the coast. i've already started to work on my tan, didnt have anything else to do while we were waiting for Mari's backpack to come... and that took about all day. T.I.A... it is sooooo hot here!! seems so much warmer that Aussie...
